The National Science Board recently announced that SAE International is the 2008 recipient of their Public Service Award. This award is in recognition of all of SAE's education programs including AWIM and CDS, which are funded by the SAE Foundation. The annual award recognizes people and organizations who have increased the public understanding of science or engineering.
