AWIM Special Initiatives

Project Overview
Toyota has been a proud sponsor of the SAE Foundation for the past 14 years, and, with its $1 million gift to the Inspiring A New Generation campaign, has contributed more than $2.5 million dollars to SAE's A World In Motion® program. In 2007 at SAE's Aero-Tech Conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center 120 fifth-graders from 186th Street Elementary School teamed up with engineers from Toyota Motor Corporation's Torrance, California location and participated in a JetToy competition.
