Volunteers Needed!
SAE International is seeking volunteers to support the JetToy Olympics. Please review the volunteer opportunities below and consider sharing some time to support the 500 students who will be attending the JetToy Olympics at COBO Center - Macomb Hall. All volunteers will be given FREE ACCESS to 2010 SAE World Congress as a thank you for their support.

| JetToy Olympics Track Building/Competition Preparation (20+ Positions) |
Essential Qualifications
- Work to build student competition tracks for the SAE World Congress - JetToy Olympics
- General site set-up (Student Kit, T-Shirt & Materials Distribution to student work stations.)
Track Building/Competition Preparations to take place:
Monday - April 12th 2010 (2:00PM - 6:00PM)
Tuesday - April 13th 2010 (9:00AM - 12:00PM) - if needed
Tuesday - April 13th 2010 (1:00AM - 4:00PM) - if needed
Volunteer would NOT be expected to participate in all/whole sessions.

Essential Qualifications
- Work as a track judge at SAE World Congress - JetToy Olympics
Wednesday, April 14, 2010 (8:00AM - 2:00PM)
- Participate in one of four 30 minute WebEX Track Judge Trainings 2-3 weeks prior to the event (All necessary materials & criteria for judging will be provided during training.)
- Judge student performance competitions
(Competitions include: Distance, Accuracy, Weight Carrying and Time Events)
- Monitor students JetToy release and travel
- Collect student scores & report to Scoring Judge
- Willingness to work with children (ages 8-12)

Essential Qualifications
- Work as a Scoring Judge at SAE World Congress - JetToy Olympics
Wednesday, April 14, 2010 (8:00AM - 2:00PM)
- Participate in one of four 30 minute WebEX Scoring Judge Trainings 2-3 weeks prior to the event. All necessary materials & criteria for judging will be presented
- Collect Track Judge Scores and enter data into an Excel Spreadsheet
- Report top three scoring teams in each category to the JetToy Olympics Competition Facilitator
- Willingness to work with children (ages 8-12)

Essential Qualifications
- Work as a Student Monitor at SAE World Congress - JetToy Olympics
- Facilitate student build process as they construct their JetToy for the competition events
Wednesday, April 14, 2010 (8:00AM - 2:00PM)
- Assist JetToy Olympics Competition Facilitator as he/she moves students form build stations to assigned practice/competition tracks
- Distribute student lunch
- Monitor student lunch
* Most of the Student Monitor positions will be filled by teachers & chaperones.

- Meet student busses and welcome students to JetToy Olympics Competition

- Distribute registration packets & name tags to teachers
- Escort teacher & student teams to assigned build areas
