Parents

Welcome.

The SAE Foundation and SAE International introduced the A World In Motion® program in 1990 with the goal of increasing students’ interest in math and science. This is in response to students’ declining test scores as well as the decline in the number of engineering graduates.

A World In Motion® reaches students in grades 4 through 10. Through A World In Motion, authentic engineering design experiences are brought into the classroom. Teachers, together with a volunteer classroom mentor from a science, engineering or technical profession, work to bring physical science principles to life for students.

The A World In Motion® programs not only teach students about physical science principles, they also include life lessons like teamwork and compromise. Best of all, A World In Motion® makes learning fun.

We invite you click through the site alone or with your child. You'll find a ton of information and activities that you can do with your child or encourage your child to do alone. Most importantly, have fun.
